Sorry, Barb, I can't help you with this one. I have had only one poem book published and didn't have any problems. I'm sure it is quite a different process with a novel.

I can't answer your question per se but I have been a You Tube user for many many years and when I view shorts it is my assumption that I am viewing an example of the material the short is about. If I were the author and it didn't resemble anything to do with my story I would assume the same thing you did. No one actually read your book! I hope you get answers.

Add a question mark, Barbara -- not a period= "...has anybody in your company read my novels(?)"
Same thing for the next question -- "...or is AI editing my novels(?)"
Add a comma -- "To me(,) if anybody actually..."
Omit THIS comma --"..resemble the novel(,) it was created to represent.
I wish I had the answer for your request but no one is making any shorts for me but yours truly.

I have never been at the stage you are in with publishing. Maybe a better question is to ask the purpose of a short. Is it either to represent the novel or get readers by any means.? Have a blessed day.

Book Writing Cube, it's a very small organization. That might be my problem. LOL My publisher is Kevin Sanders.

I assume that you must have pointed out certain passages that you felt would better represent your novels. Don't you have any input into the process? I imagine pursuing a different publisher would be difficult, but if you're not satisfied, perhaps you should look into it. I'm sorry I can't be of any help gal. Hang in there.

I sound think that a "short " is a summation of your written work. Kind of like the Cliff Notes I used to buy.

Unfortunately I am at a loss as to how to help or advise you. I feel your anger and sense of frustration. I do hope you can get it straightened out before they go live. It would be a shame to have the shorts misrepresent the novels.

I can only imagine how frustrating this must be for you Barbara. Do you mean that they are producing a book trailer for your book, like a film trailer? You're definitely right that they should resemble your book. I hope you manage to get it fixed.
