In the first line of the second stanza, you have "I" twice together.
Only through God's grace do we enter His kingdom.
A good start to my week, Roy. Thanks for sharing, and I wonder if you are still teaching a poetry writing class in your church?

There is much suffering in the world just now Roy and we are only privy to half of it. Our beliefs don't always save us from an early death, but we may have a peaceful one. Showing compassion for those who have suffered is a gift that costs nothing. I enjoyed your sentiments. I hope you didn't suffer in the recent cyclone in your country.
