God never planned my death

by royowen

God never planned to watch me die,
and in my filth, my suff'ring lie.
For in this life we forge our chain,
we bear our sadness, tears and pain.

If I could measure life by gain,
I may as well watch shadows reign.
Then I'd be lost in stormy seas...
but I would rather my God please.

And yet one day a saviour came,
and in my place, in judgement's name
He paid my ransom, paid sin's cost,
He cleared my name when all seemed lost.

For in this world of worthless want,
though they be rich they mock and taunt.
I'd rather wear compassion's gown
and on my head a grace-won crown.

For those that believe that Heaven is a place that will accept all who are good, that's fallacy. Perfection is the standard, where only the sinless go, But forgiveness will clear us, as long as we believe that Christ is the propitiation for our sins, through faith, grace is a gift. (Ephesian 2:8-9)

Romans 3:23-24
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 8:17
And if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.
