This story made me chuckle a bit. Imagine having to take a pee and sneaking off to do so...and then assisting everyone in winning!
I don't know an awful lot about the military but I find myself learning little details as I read your stories.

This is an excellent story. My husband was stationed at Ramstein for 4 years and I worked at Landstuhl. What irony going to tikle and getting a medal, I do not see any room for improvement. Have a blessed day.

Fate is a strange thing, Harry. Because you needed totinkle, you saved your troop. If you'd have been up in your post, you might have missed them and been captured. Lovely way of telling your story and I am glad you received an honor for your accomplishments.

I think it might be the first a decoration for being alert while operating under a tinkling operation, after all an unfortunate happening could be that you had your source of tinkling shot off, perhaps a Purple Heart was awarded too. Beautifully written Harry, blessings Roy
