A little levity is a wonderful thing - just ask Kamala - or should that be Kanabla?
Here is a poem I entered in the recent Cinquain contest. Reviewers mentioned that it was open to various interpretations. Thanks to Harambe who pushed me to think more deeply about what it could mean. Answer at the end...
Seesaws
and slides, like wings
of dark angels, fallen.
My father turns and leaves me all
alone.
And now, as the author, I can confidently proclaim that the child in the poem and pic represents America and the callous father who drags her to the playground and abandons her is Donald Trump.
Pop in and give it a review if you like.
