Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
For Michelle, My Daughter

You

by Debi Pick Marquette

Nine months was only the first part

Then fifty years inside my heart

Most precious birth-day that I knew

The day that I gave birth to you

It was a gift to watch you grow

More spunk than anyone I know : )

But also sweetness through and through

Which made the one and only you

A daughter who's so beautiful

Who's made my heart so very full

And to yourself, you have been true

Please always take good care of you

You married and made me grandma

Your children keep my heart in awe

My time with them is Deja vu

In them I see a part of you

You set your mind to get things done

Your work ethics are number one

You have a drive that pushes too

Shows what your career means to you

So many things I feel inside

It lives in me: a mother's pride

For all you've done, what you'll still do

I am so very proud of you

Today you are fifty years old

 A lovely woman to behold

For five decades it grew and grew

The Endless Love I have for You

Happy Birthday, Michelle
With so much Love,
 Mom
