Spectacular Owl

This One's Faux You Contest Winner 
       
   What a Spectacular Speicimen he was to see       
   Enchanted rainbow in a tree
 
He mesmerized
all who saw
all the artists
who came to draw
 Even our own
 Sally Law
 
 An amazing bird indeed
 
    He was orange, yellow, red and blue
 other lovely colors too      
                                                         
Everyone wanted 
to see him fly
 Wingspan explosion
painted sky
fireworks on
Fourth of July
 
But they couldn't ruffle his feathers
 
People tired of watching him
day after day
sit on that limb 
 
Let's turn the tables on where this is going
 
He flew into town to show his spread
perhaps they could spare a little bread
and maybe live there
with them instead
 
Yes, this could be a better suit
               for these odd creatures
                         He gave a hoot
