This was a fantastic read. The juxtaposition of a board game being played through literal warfare was most engaging. The rhyme-scheme held up throughout the narrative, making for a fluid read. Well done, and I hope to see more of your work moving forward!

Excellent piece of work and I liked the presentation and style of the poem. So this work can be represented by a game of chess. I liked that. Keep it up by writing more. I highly recommend your work to others.

Thank you so much for the fantastic review and the giant sixer, Heaven E. The game was actually the board game Sorry rather than chess. I thought about chess but really just wanted to lead up to the last line. Lol. I really appreciate the generous rating, HE. I'm glad you liked the piece. Thank you again.

Thank you for the great review, Iza. They actually played the game called Sorry rather than a chess game. I wanted them to risk their kingdoms on a ridiculous game and I used Sorry as the game just so I could use the last line. Lol. I'm glad you liked the piece. Thank you again.

This is an excellent poem, it was enthralling from beginning to the end, the classical style, long but yet enthralling narrative sucks one in, and at the same tome, you've made is sound as though there is a deadly field battle going on. Well done, this was most interesting, incredibly well written and rhymed, smooth, good reading, well done, blessings Roy

This pandemic lock down has given us the opportunity to discover many home activities that had been preserved for other ocassions. This Games of Kings is a Great poem. Well built up throughout its rhythmical and rhymed stanzaical structural content. I think that its a whimsical poetical text, too.

Dragon Skulls: great imagination and rhymes in your story poem.
You had intensity and hope for the king's narrator. I know that games
are popular with kings and all in this lockdown. Thanks for your
amazing poem and challenge. Stars **************** flylikeaneagle
