I'm keeping this before me this week as negativity is the enemy of faith. It's really the enemy to everything that is good or godly. I loved this and felt like it was written just for me. Thus, a six. Stellar music I have played over and over, too.
Sending you my best today with six shiny stars.

This is very nice and soothing!
If you take to praying
a negative thought cannot reside
where a positive thought is in control
You are so right with this word. Sometimes though, we just need to grieve!
Lovely presentation!

Yes we do, but we can still grieve in a positive way - letting go, or grieve in a negative way - wanting to die. Appreciate your feedback on this! xoxoxo

A wonderful reminder in these times of loneliness and seclusion, my lady! ;) Sometimes, though, it seems that even the prayers can't push it away... :( Thanx for sharing!! ;) :) Yvette

Yes, so hard sometimes to let go and change that thought. It?s not easy at all but that?s why it?s so precious. Thank you for appreciating! xoxoxo

This is a beautiful posting stressing the positive side of existence. Coupled with the power of prayer, one's outlook truly can be changed from darkness into the light of healing and well-being. This is a wonderfully helpful free verse, Diana. xo

Your artwork choice is lovely, and the black and white is just right for your presentation. Excellent work wit the sound, like move and gloom and take and praying. As you write, prayer will drive out the negative thoughts. This is a time to try to be positive. judi

favorite phrase: through the head talk inside I experience that! One book I read and I regret not keeping it was about a neuro doc who had a stroke.
When she had negative thoughts, she repeated to her left brain (during recovery) "Cancel, cancel, cancel . . . for approx 90 seconds until she could get herself into purer thought processes. This poem jumped out at me as a reminder of that AND her system worked for her through her 8 years of recovery. I LOVE this piece and am sorry I do not have a six for it. Fantastic piece of work here!

You have chosen a worthwhile approach, an optimistic method of confronting these troubling times.

a very comforting and positive poem
the reality of how one can feel lost and bereft if they let the thoughts run willy nilly all over the place is also depicted well
your conclusion is perfect for your poem
blessings
have a smiley day

In this beautiful poem you've taken the reader through 'what', 'when', and 'how', to move from gloom and inhibiting head-talk to the light of positive thought and gratitude.

Thank you! The human spirit is a little challenged right now with the shut down and negative thoughts can easily consume! Appreciate your encouraging feedback! xoxo
