You've been really busy, haven't you? I think I've caught up now. Just a couple of small suggestions but feel free to ignore them.

But we know that won't happen, although, we must give him the chance. - delete comma after 'although'

"I'll ask her." Mildred turned to Amelia and repeated what I'd said, including the part about giving him the chance to own up himself. - 'own up himself' sounds a bit odd - perhaps 'giving him the chance to confess'?

Mildred passed the message on, and Amelia was only too pleased to do it. - maybe 'agree to do it'

-You show the camaraderie
among the four women.
-Amelia has chosen to help snare
Charles in a trap of admitting
to Gladys's murder.
-Amid all of that is some humor,
provided by Mildred when she says
she has a gift, and then adds about
the souls in the church wandering
around, and "they steps in t' the light
and goes home." It is priceless!
-Then, things get more serious as the
notes are written, and plans are in place.
-Charles is not too pleased with Amelia's
visit, but he is not going to
dismiss his own aunt- yet!

things go from here.

Thank you so much, Pam. I'm delighted you liked Mildred's explanation to Amelia about other ghosts. I think about questions I'd ask if I was to be with someone who could see and speak to ghosts. I loved this chapter. You've made Amelia such a likeable character, and like Veronica and Mildred, you have endeared her to your readers with wonderful visuals that allow us to imagine them clearly in our heads. I don't think Charles will stand a chance now that she's on the case!

And the plot thickens. Great job, Sandra. I enjoyed reading this chapter. The three women are pretty smart 'cookies.' I like how their plan is coming about and what they decided to do. Amelia seems really amicable to help. She must know how 'bad' Charles really is. I had to laugh at the sentence that contained 'nip next door.'

Amelia is not willing to let her nephew get away with what he did to Gladys. She has joined the team of strong women out to get Charles. The ladies have come up with an excellent plan, but Charles is not someone easily unnerved. After all his aunt is getting her information from a ghost. Hoping for the best for Aunt Amelia, but preparing for the worse from Charles. Either way it is going to be an interesting conversation between these two.
Fine storytelling.

It is awesome that Amelia is accepting that Gladys is there and Mildred can see her. I love that she is going to help with the Charles issue. A nice save from Mildred saying she has a gift and can see Gladys, but Amelia can't. I also think Amelia is tacking a big chance tell Charles that Gladys said he pushed her down the stairs. What if Charles decides to hurt Amelia, because she knows what he did? This is a wonderful chapter dealing with ghost and supernatural, and murder. I look forward to the next chapter. Well done.

Oh my, Sandra, Amelia is definitely on the page when it comes to having Gladys present and even with Mildred's explanation of her gift. I am glad that she wrote her letter before visiting Charles, but was surprised that she didn't open her conversation with that rather than the way she did. The excitement is starting.
