Uh oh. It's going to get really dicey now. A head-on collision is what this amounts to, and it's most unnerving. Thank goodness Gladys and Veronica are there! xo

You've been really busy, haven't you? I think I've caught up now. Just a couple of small suggestions but feel free to ignore them.
But we know that won't happen, although, we must give him the chance. - delete comma after 'although'
"I'll ask her." Mildred turned to Amelia and repeated what I'd said, including the part about giving him the chance to own up himself. - 'own up himself' sounds a bit odd - perhaps 'giving him the chance to confess'?
Mildred passed the message on, and Amelia was only too pleased to do it. - maybe 'agree to do it'

Last one. :)) And more edits. I can't thank you enough, Judy, for all the time you've spent on these chapters, giving suggestions and pointing out errors. I hope you enjoyed reading them as well. Thank you! Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

I certainly enjoyed reading them. In about a week, I'll be going away for six weeks and won't have much chance to be online but I'll check in when and if I can.

-An excellent chapter, Sandra.
-You show the camaraderie
among the four women.
-Amelia has chosen to help snare
Charles in a trap of admitting
to Gladys's murder.
-Amid all of that is some humor,
provided by Mildred when she says
she has a gift, and then adds about
the souls in the church wandering
around, and "they steps in t' the light
and goes home." It is priceless!
-Then, things get more serious as the
notes are written, and plans are in place.
-Charles is not too pleased with Amelia's
visit, but he is not going to
dismiss his own aunt- yet!
-I look forward to seeing how
things go from here.

Thank you so much, Pam. I'm delighted you liked Mildred's explanation to Amelia about other ghosts. I think about questions I'd ask if I was to be with someone who could see and speak to ghosts. I wish I could!! Thank you, my dear friend for the lovely six stars and wonderful review. I always look out for yours. I hope to be posting the next part tomorrow with my wonderful title on the book cover! Can't wait to read the reaction. :)) Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

Woah, Sandra!
Wouldn't it be marvelous if life was really like that of which you write? Whew! What a jolt that would be. Almost as big of a jolt as it would be for Charles to know that his murderous actions have been discovered!
Dialogue and action flow well!
A very enjoyable read!
Thank you!

What a lovely review, Diane, thank you so very much. It would be wonderful to be able to do that, I'm going to ask if I can come back and help people, lol. Do you think He'd let me? Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

I loved this chapter. You've made Amelia such a likeable character, and like Veronica and Mildred, you have endeared her to your readers with wonderful visuals that allow us to imagine them clearly in our heads. I don't think Charles will stand a chance now that she's on the case!
I eagerly await the next chapter to see his reaction.

And the plot thickens. Great job, Sandra. I enjoyed reading this chapter. The three women are pretty smart 'cookies.' I like how their plan is coming about and what they decided to do. Amelia seems really amicable to help. She must know how 'bad' Charles really is. I had to laugh at the sentence that contained 'nip next door.'
Great job and thanks for sharing. Jan

Amelia is not willing to let her nephew get away with what he did to Gladys. She has joined the team of strong women out to get Charles. The ladies have come up with an excellent plan, but Charles is not someone easily unnerved. After all his aunt is getting her information from a ghost. Hoping for the best for Aunt Amelia, but preparing for the worse from Charles. Either way it is going to be an interesting conversation between these two.
Fine storytelling.

Thank you so much, Sandra, for this lovely review. Yes, you're right, Charles won't be a pushover by any means. We'll see how the ladies handle this difficult situation. Thanks again, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Well now it's said and we will see what happens. I can't see the Vice Admiral taking this very well and just giving up. Looking forward to what will happen next. Rox

It is awesome that Amelia is accepting that Gladys is there and Mildred can see her. I love that she is going to help with the Charles issue. A nice save from Mildred saying she has a gift and can see Gladys, but Amelia can't. I also think Amelia is tacking a big chance tell Charles that Gladys said he pushed her down the stairs. What if Charles decides to hurt Amelia, because she knows what he did? This is a wonderful chapter dealing with ghost and supernatural, and murder. I look forward to the next chapter. Well done.

Of course, I would answer all these questions if I could, but Veronica hasn't told me a thing! I hear her whispering to Mildred. They are becoming very sneaky! lol. I'm sure they will tell in time to post at the weekend. Thank you so very much for this fabulous review, Sandra. I really appreciated it. Big hugs, my friend. :) Sandra xx

Oh my, Sandra, Amelia is definitely on the page when it comes to having Gladys present and even with Mildred's explanation of her gift. I am glad that she wrote her letter before visiting Charles, but was surprised that she didn't open her conversation with that rather than the way she did. The excitement is starting. Great job, hugs and smiles.
