Tell that to Mastery, and he will send his henchmen out, :)) I think anyone who has to go begging for votes doesn't really have the confidence in his/her own writing. I was really pleased with all my regular reviewers, they were the ones who really counted. The fact that he put me down to you, and most likely others as well, goes to show his lack of confidence. Sad really. Now to get my books on the big screen!!!! LOL, wouldn't that be something?! I'm too old now to enjoy those things. I'm just over the moon that you are enjoying reading this book. :)) xxx

Omigosh!! Wouldn't that be SOMETHING??!! Oy! You'd be my brush with greatness!!! I'd be SO first in line for tickets!! xo

Hmm, I can't believe Veronica is going to let a little thing like a locked door stop her.... surely someone on the hospital staff has a skeleton key! Do you call them skeleton keys there? A key that opens any door.
Okay, I can't wait for the next chapter, so HURRY!!
;-)

Another great chapter, Sandra. Boy, do those girls have some problems to solve. Although I loved the chapters with James and the children, it was so nice to see Mildred and Veronica back together again.
Now for some action - I can't wait!

Thank you so much, my dear friend. It was nice to reunite the girls, they are lost without each other. But, now they have some problems to sort out! Thanks for all those lovely stars, my friend. Biggest hugs, Sandra xxxx

Sorry - I haven't been keeping up with all that's been happening. I do like the way you describe the thinking process while Veronica is trying to figure out how to get back into the time.
Questions:
Could you give us the time period when they go back into time?
Does Mildred belong to the past time?
she whispered behind her hand. "Why?" (wasn't quite sure what this means. Was she covering her mouth?)

Hi, thank you for reading this part, but I'm sorry, but it would be silly to keep telling everyone what period she is in when she goes back because they know from so many other chapters exactly where they are. Just mentioning Mildred, or the hospital tells the reader Veronica has been taken back into WW1 rather than 1905 with the suffragettes. The reader would also know that Mildred whispered behind her hand, (doesn't that mean the same thing as 'covering her mouth?) because no one else could see Veronica and it would look as if she is talking to herself which is shown by her actions in this part when Veronica is at last sent back. This is the 3rd book in the series so everyone already knows what's happening. Mildred, in fact, is also a time traveller, but neither can just go where they want, they are sent to different times by the Powers to stop changers that would totally alter the future. It's not a complicated story, but the questions you've asked would probably annoy readers if I was to keep putting in the time era they already knew from part one and all the subsequent actions in previous chapters. Sandra.

Oh, I didn't mean adding it to the text. Just where you have the list of characters in the notes, you could also mention the time period just for the occasional reviewers. Thanks!

-An excellent chapter that brings Ver.
and Mildred back together in time and place.
-Ver. is definitely industrious and
finds plans for the hospital.
-They become pivotal to what
she and Mildred find.
-I love Mildred's comment to the group
about practicing for a West End play!
-After the plans had been followed accurately,
and they found the door, it was to no
avail since it was locked.
-Things are not easy; it reminds me of
those movies when the clock is ticking
away the seconds before disaster.
-Hopefully, there won't be one.

I'm so pleased you liked the West End play part. My image of Mildred has always been of a fun, kindhearted and very honest woman. She might come across a bit dotty at times, but underneath she is very wise and right on the ball. She's going to need her wits about her in future parts.:))
Thank you so much for all those stars, Pam, and for another one of your really lovely reviews. I liked the way you described how it reminded you of the clock ticking, and you're right, they haven't got long to sort things out. Big hugs, my dear friend. :)) Sandra xxx

I think you capture the spirit of Mildred very well with your description. I see her that way, too. The West End was priceless!
"Oh, Lordy, am I going to be in play, now, Miss Sandra?! I am gettin' pretty good at my actin' skills, now. Jes' sayin'!"
You are very welcome and deserving of the stars and review. I am glad you liked my analogy!
-
LOL! If it came to it, I'd insist you played the part of Mildred! You know her so well. :)))
-
I'll be Mildred, and you can be Veronica. Mildred would need some of Veronica's wisdom and guidance; although, it works the other way, too! We'd have to get some male leads-only good men need apply!

Hello Sandra,
Well done.
Of course, there has to be a way out and what better way than a door.
A hidden door, in a basemen, but then the door is locked, as it should be.
I think there must be a key or another door.
It's good to have Mildred back. After all, what's Holmes without Watson
or Eric without Herbie?
Nicely done on all counts.

Thank you so much for the lovely 6 stars, Robert. Yes, you're right, Veronica without Mildred just wouldn't be right. They have forged such a friendship, they are lost without each other. I'm glad you enjoyed this part, thank you for the lovely review. Big hugs, my friend. :) Sandra xx

Believing the bombing is over, Mildred learns there is more to come, and the hospital will take a direct hit. She pales, takes a moment to absorb the news, and then says, "We's got t' get all the patients outta here."
When a metal rack may be blocking a door, unperturbed, she clears the shelves. The door is locked, but I don't see that as being a problem for Mildred. She is a very determined woman.
Mildred is a great character. She is a person that everybody wants for a friend.

Mildred was only a secondary character when this series started, but she grew so much she almost has her own fan club on here! lol. Thank you so much, Sandra, for this lovely review. Mildred has a lot to do now. :)) Sandra xx

Oh, I found this to be very interesting! I haven't read the previous parts, but I was still drawn right in. Mildred seems like an interesting character who I want to learn more about, great job!

Hello Sandra,
Oftentimes, I read your well-crafted writing, but I have not the time to review. So know for a certainty that I have been following your writing, and I am an avid fan! This chapter was very engaging; I loved it. Oh to be a time traveler! How exciting that would be.
I loved the word, "juddered." That's a new one to me and it made me smile!
Thank you for sharing
