The morning after is where the truth is found. Therein lies the rub, as Shakespeare said. It reminds me of a Johny Rodregiuz song. This time instead of getting up and going home to him, just get up and close the door.

This is a lovely poem. Love and loss, one night encounter. I like that you break the end rhyming pattern and make it work. The warm colours of flame and erotic art add to your work. As does the music, very nicely put together.
