Another good chapter in your tale. Your writing is clear and fluid so this flowed smoothly. I like the way you left us hanging for the next post

Nicely done. Good chapter ... glad all is well. Dick is gone for good, I hope. Everyone makes this sort of mistake, I think. At lesat I did in my younger days. Ended up in FL with a guy who was nothing like he puported to be. None of his three toilets worked. He was about four feet tall with fifteen hairs sticking out of his head at random. Had to be an alien or a mutant dwarf. I needed him for a ride to the airport asap. It was touch and go for a while, but I did escape unharmed by the freaky little troll.

Phyllis, LOL on your FL adventure! ;) I believe you are correct, and the troll in my story is a pro at manipulating women who trust. Thank you for your continued interest and excellent review of my story. Much appreciated ;)

I like the names that keep changing for this guy. I have to go back to part one again because I am still shaking my head as to how she ended up with this weirdo. I think buying her the Ted Bundy book might have been a good idea. I can't wait to read what your son says about it all.

Hi Mel, thank you for the great review. Yes, his monikers seem to intensify with my anger toward him :/ Very observant of you to note that ;) I appreciate your continued follow and reviews!

You're welcome. Can't blame you for getting more mad at the guy.

Thank you, Ricky, for your RR&R and wonderful review. Brunhilda loved the "A Master's Style" reference you gave it :) The fabulous SIX made my evening! I appreciate your continued follow and absolute best reviews on my work. I hope this finds you well.

Thanks Mary.

What a funny chapter! So many funny things! I'm impressed that Brunhilda is a musician in addition to all her other talents.
"screeched", not screetched
Once again, you leave us wanting more! Great job!

Thank you, Heidi, for the catch and your awesome RR&R. Don't be impressed, Brunhilda's singing resembles greatly her screeching :) Thank you for your time and talent, once again. Much appreciated! Have a great evening.

Hi, Mary. I really enjoy your escapeds in writing. Your sense of humor is outstanding to perfect-sounding to the reader. (me) In this particular chaptrer I LMAO at this paragraph:
"McDonald's golden arches, recycled paper napkins, red plastic trays and teenagers with headsets set the scene for Dick's send off dinner--how do you spell R.O.M.A.N.C.E? One additional insult, Charlotte had to buy her own fooooooking dinner! My vegetarian friend went with a McSalad, McFries, and finished off dining with the rattlesnake donning fried shoulder length Trump hair with a McTurnover."
And of course there is more. You are a natural wit for sure and a good writer. I wish I had six stars to give you for this one.
Bravo! Brilliant. Bob

Thank you, Bob, for your stellar review of this chapter. I very much appreciate your 'virtual' six stars. Good enough for me. I appreciate the commitment to a longer read and your lovely review. Have a wonderful evening.

Your friend covers her bases (phone being charged!) and now she's switched hotels. She sure makes Dick out to be a bad ass. Maybe that's the bait. Told with your usual delightful and sarcastic sense of humor. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Dick is a bad ass, just wait! There was an issue with her European credit cards not being useable at the boutique hotel, but the Hilton is international so not a problem. Thank you, Shari, for your excellent review and rating. I very much appreciate you in my corner :) I hope you are healing and Frank too. Have a wonderful evening! XO

Once again you have left me hanging, and hoping you will post the next chapter soon.
I love Brunhilda. How are you coping with her ego?
I used to be like Charlotte; Very much so, but now I am more like Brunhilda.
I think it took about 70 yrs. to make the change. I am a slow learner.

Hello Win, and LOL. You had me laughing. Brunhilda just said, "what ego???" Thank you for a great review and for continuing the read. I very much appreciate it. Charlotte really does have a heart of gold and is trusting by nature. Isn't it sad that we shy away from this type of situation because we feel we might be harmed in the process of helping. I struggled with that, only because of the evil that walks the planet and seems to claim every news hour. Have a great evening!

You are a dynamite writer. You got me laughing so hard I spewed coffee all over my screen. I just love Brunhilda, I have one too but not near as cleaver as yours. Love your reference to the haiku...very clever and checking out a book on Ted Bundy pretty much sent me crashing to the floor I was laughing so hard. I cannot wait for the next chapter. Hard to believe, but each one is better than the one before. Keep up the great work.

Your the best, Sasha. Thank you for the hilarious review. I wish I could spew coffee. I reheat it so often I rarely get a cup down before surrending it to the drain :) I loved hearing that the chapters are improving, because I often feel as I don't live up to the previous ones, so thank you for that boost to Brunhilda's writing ego :) The SIX is awesome, thank you so very much!! Have a great evening!!

Great chapter always interesting. Love the Shirley Temple clip. When My sons were little I went to the library and got them some Shirley Temple movies. They fell in love with her. She was still live then, but old enough to be their grandmother. They were so disappointed when I told them she was old. I hated to spoil it for them, but they would have found out soon enough.

Thank you, Thomas, for your RR&R and continued interest. Shirley Temple was a class act throughout her entire life and I wish there were more like her today vs. the usual Hollywood presence. Too funny about your kids. I appreciate your excellent rating, it beats the heck out of your review on chapter 1! Brunhilda is still in a snit over that one :) Hahahaha :)
