Hi mystery poet,

The syllable count is correct as per the form. Good word economy! It has good imagery and appeal. However, the third line sound grammatically awkward, as one moves from second to third line. I'd recommend slightly tweaking it to make the read smoother.

Example edit:

aquamarine waves

flowing over my body

stimulate calmness

Please note that I've reviewed it as a 5/7/5 poem, and not a haiku. Otherwise, you'd have to revise the third line significantly.

This poem doesn't really make me feel warm, but it does make me feel calm. If it weren't for the picture, I would not have understood why the title was 'Warm Waters', but it is still a good nature poem.

This is a fine Nature 5-7-5. I love the water, so this contest entry was one that I could very easily relate to. Warm waters are so very calming. Not much beats that! I read all of the contest entries, and thought yours was the best. I also love the picture that you posted with your poem. :)
