First piece of literature i have read so far, and im impressed to say the least.
This piece was very catchy and put together perfectly, so well, I felt a sense of nostalgia as if i was the character (Pete).
Love your work : )

Wow. What a very nice story in a poem. I was able to visualize your encounter with your Jaime. You pose a very striking desire for me to read your poem; again, and again

This is a lovely poem with good rhythm and flow. It tells a good story that is structured and reads well. The poem invites the reader in and encourages them to think of their own memories. Wow what a strong poem! I couldn't take my eyes off of the screen for one second! So many young adults can relate to this. It flowed beautifully and had a great story to it. Thank you for sharing!

A really charming story poem about first love. I do remember mine and it does indeed feel like a crazy moon about to explode, the lover's moon that mirrored your heart.

Dear Rod,
Just a girl but what a friend. If I had a six it would be yours. Nice flow of words like Jamie and you in her canoe. I hope this is a true story. Whatever it truly was a gift. Excellent rhyming too.
Warm regards,
Winslow

Sigh, I all out of shiny-six stars, or I'd hurriedly place one on this well crafted narrative poem about the unforgettable childhood friend, and your first kiss. Great imagery and word selection make it shine.

It is a great tale of a quick summer friendship with a girl both brave and bold. Those are the best kinds when you're young. Well made tale for the summer.

Oh, I loved this one, had a great beat, the word usage was clever and all in all, my favorite kind of poem.
Nothing to add, as I'm no poet,
but when I see good stuff, I sure know it!~
All the best in the contest,
Hugs,
Gayle
