The words are fine alone. Beautiful and inspirational words. Reminding us to follow the path that the Lords has designed for us. Yes, sometimes pride gets in the way and we think we can handle a situation only to make a mess of things. It is so much easier to just ask for guidance in the beginning, but we're stubborn. A great reminder, Carolyn. Thank you so much for sharing.

I don't think a lack of artwork affects this at all. This has deep truth to it...God always knows best, and is just waiting for us to say...'I'm listening.' Wonderful!

Well said...and as someone else said, God allows U turns. Life is short for sure so there's a bit of a caution in your writing here to not miss out on the good things God has planned for His own.

I think the message in your poem is good enough to stand alone without any picture. Very nice writing, Carolyn. Life does go by fast and the older you get the faster it goes! :>D MIss Sally

Carolyn, I believe that sometimes we depend to heavily on the peripheral and entertaining side shows with our writting. I think our words should stand alone, so no worries. You have crafted a strong and meaningful poem, my friend. :0 GracieAnn

Hi Carolyn,
Your poems are very nice even without pictures to go with them.
Your message isn't lessened by not having them although I,
for one, really love to see photos with poetry. You can be sure
I will read your work even if it stands alone.

This poem is presented perfectly well and you have done a great job with this piece of work. Life is indeed short. I turned 45 yesterday and I am starting to feel like every bit of it.

Hi, Carolyn,
We're such creatures of habit when it comes to having our comforts and tools at hand, but this turned out nice without artwork.
True and beautiful message in you work. Amen.
Happy Travels...

The presentation of this poem does not need illustrating, your words are strong enough. It's a lovely poem with excellent sentiments. We all need God's help regardless of what we say. Without His help we are lost. Beautiful my friend. xsx Sandra
