Carolyn, this write utilizes word imagery that is quite lovely. Solid use of the b b rhyming scheme and resounds with honor toward our Lord and Creator. Inspiring. Well done. :0 GracieAnn

Hi, Carolyn. Yes you got that right. God is the Master Painter. I love the scenes of winter. It has been snowing and then raining and the trees are beautiful, though the roads are not so nice. Good job. :>D Miss Sally

We had a nasty weather day today as well, but a wonderful Sunday as we were able to get to worship as usual. Thank you for your great comments.

So true, and He used all the crayons in the box! Wonderful poem, tribute to God and His beautiful gallery of works! I like the last line...'our blest winter scenes'.

Thanks Irish Rain,
I love your 'all the crayons in the box.' I used no picture just so everyone could imagine their own favorite scenes.

Hi there dear Linda,
Thanks for your wonderful comments. I love living in a region where we have all four seasons. The more tropical or desert climates are good to visit, but give me a little snow now and then.
Love you, Carolyn

Nicely done! Your quatrains flow nicely with good progression. You tell a fine story of winter. Your meter is immpecable and the rhyming is natural and unforced. This time of year it is difficult to find wonder, when most are ready for spring. Excellent write. Rod

Thanks Rod,
I am always ready for Spring. LOL...However, all seasons hold their own beauty and grace. Thank you so much for your awesome review and the observations regarding meter and rhyme. I feel very encouraged by your words.

This is an inspiring poem of God's handiwork. I like ... pictorial treasures
beyond all measure and carved by nothingness by God's own hand. Our
mountains are snow capped now. They are beautiful as I look out my
front window. Isn't it sad that so many don't even look up to notice.

You captured my attention from the first line to the last.
Your words are so true.
It's sad when people are rushing here and there and miss the beauty He has created.
