I'm really sorry to hear this, Dallas.
Of course, pets are often more loved and important to us than people - and often for good reason.
Very well and sadly expressed.
I wish you BOTH well.
Cheers, Ray xx

Will be learning to give insulin injections.

Wonderfully written poem that you wrote for this prompt. I like the alliteration that you used. Great job with the syllable count. I like the picture you went with. Best if luck.

This meets the form and syllable count of the prompt. I'm not sure what the poem means - perhaps the writer's cat diagnosed with diabetes? Good luck to you, Jeanie Mercer

Yes that is correct. Just diagnosed last week. Have to learn how to give insulin injections.

When my daughter married, her husband had a beloved diabetic dog, and she also had to learn to give insulin injections. She said the first time she did it she was shaking so hard she could hardly do it. It got easier. Then she realized the dog looked forward to the shots because she knew she was about to be fed.

This is an intersting poem. I think you are using a different definition of 'ansty' than is commanly known. A diabetic cat, nasty news?
