Hi Anupam,
This thought, like the letter, opens up a world of imagination. The idea of ink and memories, fading into the past, is both simple and complex, but it's the emotion of the tear that strikes home. A thoughtful write well portrayed. Best wishes, Bill

Hi, Bill.
Exactly! It's both simple and complex. You certainly are so insightful. It feels great when someone can relate to a piece well. Thanks for this wonderful review, my friend. :)

Anupam, I'm probably reading this out of order but I still enjoy the reads. Excellent job on this one. As usual, so much said in so few words. Have a good one, Judy

Hi, Judy.
Thanks for reading and reviewing. Unable to catch up with your posts as I've missed the earlier chapters of your series. I always love the mystery genre, so I will be on level soon.
Enjoy the day! :)

This is superb. You do a marvelous job conveying the sadness from the now invisible words of this letter. This is very emotional and beautifully written. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.

This is wonderful for a short one. You really create an unforgettable image of the tear washing out the words on the letter. One can see the memories dissolving. Letter writing was precious, and it's too bad we don't do that any more. Some memories deserve to be preserved, not routinely deleted. Really beautiful, and presented with style. judi

This is beautifully written and a nice addition to your growing list of minimal syllable offerings. The artwork compliments this piece well and the words convey the necessary emotion and imagery. Nicely done and I thank you so much for sharing this with me.

None of the trademark humour of the senryu here, but a powerfully emotive piece all the same.
The reader is left to imagine the personal grief brought to the surface by the letter.

It's a misconception that senryu are used to only convey humor. They are used to make social comments, highlight social issues, and address emotions. Thanks.

A moment in time and its powerful impact well captured here in this Senryu - i wonder in times to come and in e-letter age where we will allow our emotion filled tears to fall - on our IPhone ? Just a thought inspired by your writing
