Dear Mike,
You write in an active entertaining style. This is the only chapter I've read but from it I take it you have an excellent plot for a mystery. Your dialogue is up in your face and seems realistic for cop talk.
Warm regards,
Winslow

Mikey, this is a unexpected twist in her handing in her badge, and it sure sounds like the chief is in on something not above board. Now, where in the world is Carmen Sandiego Bard? They'd better not put him on ice!
apostrophe police in just move into peoples yards. :0 GracieAnn

This is very intriguing! As I was reading it, I kept thinking of a TV series, with Det. Tenaya as the central character and this story as the pilot. The Bard would be a recurring character who would keep the police and residents of Bel Air ethical, through his "crazy" rantings. I think you could be on to something here.

Great creating here, a crooked or paid off cop here in the mix. I have faith you won't let anything happen to Bard, he's too important to the story. Can't wait until the spoiled rich kids find out about their secret love child sister

I love the story. I love Detective Adrian. She gave her badge and gun to the detective because she believed there was a case. Ruby finds out she is an heir. That should stir up The Bard has a friend. Great work.

WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM WITH YOU INTERNET? Good story hope you can keep it going I think I am going to try once more to write my story I tried twice last night but it kept cutting out and not letting me finish I would get half way done and it would disappear. Tom said they never had that happen before but I have my doubts

Are you typing directly into this place? You should type it into word or notepad and then copy it into here. No telling what can happen here. It took me years before I would trust a computer at all. I used to handwrite everything. Now I e-mail everything to myself and print it. Still lose stuff anyway. EERRRRRGGGGH. This one is fun. I don't have to worry about oceans rising and jets flying. Just crazy guys talking. Hahaha. Right up my alley!!!

I USUALLY TYPE MY LONG STUUF AND PRINT IT OUT BUT BEFORE I PUT ON HERE THE SMALL THINGS I WRITE ON HERE SO NOW I GOT TO BE MORE CAREFUL

Yep, I been busy, just now getting on station. I see the Bard was booked and made bail. I wonder who made the bail? Maybe, the ones who kidnapped him. Maybe, the Bard's body will be found in an alley dumpster. Did the detective quit for good? good story, count your doubloons, forgive me for me tardiness. wackydo

Thank you kindly sir!! The next chapter is up. Surprise!! I can't complain about tardiness. I am miles behind!! Can't kill the Bard. She's suspended. But, that won't stop her from going after the case. Check your mail. mikey

Now with the bard abducted, it is the perfect time to make him become more of an active investigator, Tenyaya rescue him, and they becoming permanent partners (an investigative team off the books). To me, so far this book is your best and you should set it up to tell their further adventures in other books.
