Cats--one of my favorite subjects to write/read about. They are so funny. Image is adorable. Like your use of "cat," "rats," fat. A fun piece.

Oh how I love Cat poetry. Very well written and very cat-like clever. Good luck in the contest and in all of your writing quests.

Hi, You only have two lines that rhyme and the contest instructions say you need to have three. If you change this let me know and I will re-rate. ep

Yep much better.

This Rhyme That 1-6-1 writing prompt entry may work if near rhymes are allowed. Nap and Cat are not pure but proximate rhyme. It is humorus and has the correct syllable count. Hope this works for the contest. :0 GracieAnn

humorous pairing of artwork and poem, which is in excellent 1/6/1 syllable count
I like the use of proximate rhyme with nap/cat fat
you create a scene that is both easy and fun to visualize
