this is very well written, mystery writer, I enjoyed reading this senryu, the last line especially, great imagery presented through the whole of it. the title drew me in. I wish you the best of luck in the contest.

I just told someone else that their little three line poem was one of the best I'd ever read...and then I find this one, and it certainly qualifies for that categorization, too.

You handled this very deftly. Good word choice, good imagery, good story. Wow.
