It has been a while since I have enjoyed a piece of your work Dean. This pictapoem is such a departure from most of your other work, but it is precious. Your author notes brought a warm rush to my heat. Happy New Year and the very best to you and your family in 2014...Stephanie

Awesome! Nice departure from the gory and macabre!
I love the way you let the lines fill in the silhouette of the image...that really added to its effect!
Nicely short and sweet...captures perfectly the "to the point" sense of childhood innocence!

Good complimentary photo that grabs my attention from the start. Good end rhyming with charm/harm. Good perfect rhyming with way/day. Good short and brief message filled with passion and love.

Boy, Amen on this thought! Hello, Dean, you make a great point. It seems like such an obvious thought; love your children, they are a blessing. Unfortunately, too many people look at children as a rotten by-product of sex, I believe. Sad, but true. Thank God there are kids out there that have been raised with love in there family. It's the salvation of our race, hopefully. Nice thought and presentation on this piece, my friend. Have a great day, Bill

A work of art - Your beautiful words superimposed on the striking art is a combination worthy of many, many stars. But I'm allowed only five stars at present. The message is one of love for your children - I feel the words tug at my heart when read. Beautiful indeed.

Now, you're into two old gals territory and we love the tenderness of a father's heart, something very special and to be cherished. God loves you and we do too.

Hi, Dean. What a change of pace for you...of course I already knew you had a big heart despite the gore you know how to weave so well. LOL. Has anyone came to you about my artwork? I am getting raves about it.
I know the kids are so very important to us. I lost my 14 year-old son to a freak car accident in 1981. (a bowling ball killed him) Read "Top of The Mountain" in my portfolio about it, if you have time. It was one day after Thanksgiving. No Christmas that year. :( Merry Christmas to you and yours...Bob

I'm glad I opened this up. I thought the rhyme of good luck charm and keeping from harm warm and felt just right. It gave me pause to think of my own children, three of which are still in the nest as teens. I recall once when I stood between a pitbull and my first son when he was a little tike. I would have bit the dam dogs head off if he'd gone for him.

I always enjoy your fresh creative ventures, Dean. What a lovely poem dedicated to your children. They're fortunate to have such a nice father. Happy Holidays to you and yours, Bev
