This is my first time to stumble on your poetry, Sir! I was intrigued by your profile and the unique art you used in this poem. Gothic, terrifying and creepy! I also appreciate your notes since it made the poem more intense and true-to-life!

Well, we all stumble from time to time, my friend, and I am so glad to have you stumble into my work. I am very glad you enjoyed this format. It's one I've created exclusively for FanStory, and I call it, a Pictapoem ®. It combines elements of art and music or sounds, and historical facts, to create a sort of sensory experience for the reader, to draw them into the story or poem.
They are all in my book, "A Poem is worth a thousand Pictures", which is in my portfolio.
I appreciate you taking a look, and I thank you for the wonderful review!

Excellent and eerie too...I've been to Wyoming, a VERY long time ago and should have moved there to do my art. Oh well. This makes me want to go see this place. Nice work! :) A. /PS! CROWS! These birds are a horror in themselves. I love the wind sounds, and coyotes. Sounds like home...I do need to get my bb gun for these crows! LOL!

Dean this is an outstanding piece of work. Beautifully set and presented in an awe inspiring manner. The music is deadly.

I could handle your author's notes. I turned down the sound as it was such an eerie sound of the raven. I have no desire to visit ghost towns, I'm a bit of a chicken in that department. You're great at the gift God has given you. God loves you and I do too.

Hi Dean,
This is another excellent poem, eerie and mysterious. Raven's Fare is the perfect holiday destination, only a one-way ticket needed. Thanks for including the note at the end of your poem. This is very interesting and I'm sure a lively place on Halloween.
Bye
Rosalyne :)

In spite of your glowing review of Raven's Fare, it will not make my bucket list. You've written a fitting tribute to this haunted place on the map. I always appreciate your author's notes. Not sure how you find out about these obscure places!

Hah, I won't be visiting there any time soon either, Green Lake Girl.
I'm glad you liked the poem, though!

Wow. What a way to start my day. Almost spilled my coffee when the adventure started. After settling down I became immersed in your vivid writing and nature's stirring serenade. Well done indeed!

Always the best. Always the show. I run out of things to say about you, Dean. I'm not a poet so I can only judge on how one's words captivate me. Yours always do. Sometimes I don't remember reading what you've written as I'm in the story. That's what your poems are like to me. Stories. Well done.

Dean, what can I say? You continue to reach beyond the stars to write words which haunt us and add pictures and music for this total package. . .I sometimes find it difficult just getting the words right for a small poem. . .The is original, clever and exciting, as usual. livelylinda
