I like this cinquain and I imaging that the first part, "Dancing outside in rain helps dissolve stress and pain" must be true. I am thinking that I need to do that again.

Nice, the title, the illustration, and the poem all fit together well, the words of the poem lay out a light-hearted mood that makes it an enjoyable read, good luck.

This is a lovely chinquapin. It draws a nice image of movement and those simple rhymes make it flow off the page. The message is also very good.

Ah, a lovely cinquain. What's more, it even rhymes!
Hey, you just can't beat that for entertainment, now, can you?
I myself love to dance in the rain, but only during the spring and summer months, of course. Fall and winter, 'eh...not so much.
Great job, and I think you have a winner here!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed this cinquain. Definitely an entertaining activity for both dancers and observers. Warm summer rain would be ideal, and perhaps done on a white sandy beach with lots of tropical drinks available - those with spears of fruit and tiny umbrellas. Appreciate your comments ... ;o)

Whatever the reason, whatever your pleasure as long as you are enjoying yourself, who cares what others think of your crazy antics.

Lovely expression of childlike abandon and release of gloom. Nice parallel between "in rain" and "in refrain". Skillful use of alliteration, though "drip and wash" seem a bit incongruent with dancing. Also "helps" weakens "dissolve" a little.

This is a wonderful poem. I like the joyful tone. The word choice is great. I liked the rhyme. The picture is appropriate.

Dancing
outside in rain
helps dissolve stress and pain
Doldrums drip and wash away ... in
refrain
Damn straight it's good for ya. The only thing any better is when you can take off all your clothes and do it.

Yeah...right on, Dear Gungalo. Hey, if you take a picture of yourself dancing outside in the rain without any clothes and send it to me, I'll switch pictures ... ;o)

I doubt that very much. LOL

You fulfilled the brief perfectly. It's been pouring here in Ireland all day today, but with the cold wind I didn't feel like dancing in the rain, although your picture makes it look quite appealing.
All the best for the competition.

Thanks, Tessa. Dancing in cold rain today sounds miserable - better to stay warm inside and perhaps have a pint of Guinness. Glad you enjoyed this poem and picture. Appreciate your comments ... ;o)
