Geez, the sadness comes through enveloping everything. What can one say. You write so well ... It's truly difficult for me to judge why you write the way you do.

I thought this was a glorious love ode to a wife right up until the end. I was hit with a feeling of broken hearted tragedy for the author and was surprised to find this was infact a sad love ode. I loved the surprise at the end it was a wonderful twist (in a writing sense not the unrequited love).

that is a very good poem. I would read it again. I remeber someone special to me and that I my mom. she died 5 years ago from cancer and today is her birthday she would of been 62 years old. and on this earth living. Now she has her wings and flying all over.

I am just delighted that you enjoyed this. I hadn't written in years when I wrote this to gain the attention of the pretty girl that is the subject of this ode. it got me writing again! also happy that in spite of the form it is being accepted as an ode which I believe it is. thank you very much. mike
