A breather chapter which just makes you wonder in which direction you're headed with the bit of conversation between the priests and then blondie Shaw. I hope they have her up for obstruction of the law at the end. She might just be walking off with the biggest clue yet. Well written. Luv jada

Hi Bev...I need to get this book together so I can read it from the start. This chapter seems flawlessly written. ONE idea? For drama...and effect, I would add the word 'real' in front of 'pain'/last sentence. :D Beautiful work. x. susan

Hi, Susan. That's a great idea. Amazing how one word can change the feel of something! Another reason I love getting reviews. Thank you, my friend, for your awesome and generous review. Hugs, Bev

I haven't read previous chapters but this one certainly held my interest and I will look forward to reading more. Darcy sounds like an interesting character, and this conversation between the priests also was well done.

Your work continues to unravel into ongoing intrigue with strong anticipation, after you finish the latest chapter. The dialogue continues to be very believeable throughout. It flows well. Your storyline does too. The character development is also strong and realistic. Great job, as always. Enjoyed.

Another fine chapter of this story, Bev. Well written as usual. This new gal is annoying me. I want her to hand over this evidence so we can get on with the business of catching this killer. Great suspense and drama! I'd like to read the next chapter now, please. Can't wait -lol!

Joy, thank you so much for this truly gracious and generous review. I'm glad my contempt for people like Darcy came through in this chapter. And you are always so generous in your encouragement. That means a lot to me.
Hugs, Bev

Hullo Writingfdundimension ....
This certainly is an unusual piece of writing with a
not-very-polite ending. However, from a story point of view, I look forward to reading further chapters.

The writer had my attention from the start. The topic or God alone makes me eager to read. I was thinking this chapter was taking me one place and I ended up somewhere else. I reminds me of how you think you are going one place and God takes you to another place. I like the transitioning in this chapter and how the writer brings the reader to a stressed released ending.

Hi Bev,
Hmmm, I rather think this b-1-tch of a niece is about to cause the case to go rather pear shaped and perhaps even let the murderer off the hook.
Stupid, stupid, stupid.
Good chapter, I didn't spot any hiccoughs.
