Interesting and very informative. I have two teen girls and luckily they haven't been a victim of Cyber bullying, but both have had a brush with the tactics of mean girls. It's interesting that the more ' advanced ' the technology the less ' human ' the users in some cases.

These are dark days and not only can they pull you off the street but now there is access over the air waves.
I am so sick of the nastiness and evil rampant in our society.
We've been at war for 12 years. Parents out of work, stressed or working more.
If God has a plan I think it's time to get on with it.
It's only getting worse.

In any kind of writing it is important to be organized, but probably never more important than when supplying vital information in an article.
The author has laid out the facts within this article clearly, backed up the claims with research, and followed up with a valuable resource to help the reader further investigate the topic. The only other thing she might have done is explain the qualifications of Richard Donegan - what gives his paper its distinction, other than the fact that he is at Elon University? (I wrote many papers while in college - what makes him expert on the subject?)(I hope that this suggestion is of help.)
Otherwise, it is stunningly well-presented, an excellent article, in my opinion.

The times they are a changing, I think Bob Dylan sang that. And boy have they changed from when I was a youngster growing up with Beaver and Lassie. Bullying has led to tragic consequences and the contributor to that is the violent entertainment that disensetises youths to violence.

This is an an excellent essay about cyber bullying. This is big news in Canada this week, because a 15 year old killed herself as a result of bullying, much of it on Facebook.
It's an important topic, and one that will continue to take up mind share until there is a solution, or a least a reasonable drop off.

I think that sort of thing is probibly the hardest thing to deal with as the perp or pervert can not be identified. I hope and pray that they find a way to get the jerks who do this sort of thing. Good read, good message and keep on writing.

Great piece, Titan. When I first started getting online I was amazed and upset with what was said to me. In real life, I'm no nonsense and can take anyone on face to face. This world didn't give me that option. My eldest Son finally told me that people behind a computer screen act bullet proof and to let it go. I've gotten better but wouldn't want to be a teenager up against it.
