"eyes rapidly in (a) effort to focus" - I think it should be "an".
Great chapter as usual, Bev. I love the idea of the Ghost dance. What a cranky medical examiner.

I really enjoyed the suspense leading up to the Howiwacipi!
I also thought the conversation written interwined with the priest's prayer was an excellent use of reflective dialogue.
As always I enjoyed your author notes as an appetizer served up before digging into the main course.
Looking forward to reading on.. Keep up the good work, Bev!

Hah, I was wondering what White Coat Hypertension was ... Very interesting.
Also, I was a bit lost during the part where the priest is saying his final prayers and what was happening in between. I guessed the spirit or ghost was communicating with him. I see from your notes that it's probably the case.
Very spooky ... Lol
I think you did a great job with this chapter. Left it with a good hangar!
Looking forward to the next chapter.

What an intriguing chapter, Bev,
and so well written and presented,
which made it a pleasure to read...
most impressive and deserving of a six.

You have a very good novel here. Great intro on the character of Doctor Franklin Bloomquist. You have really done your home work on the working of the church and the Police Dept. I love every sentence in your first paragraph. You are doing a wonderful job of developing each of these characters. thank you so much for sharing your creativity. Congratulation!

Hi writingfundimension,
Fially caught up with this chapter. Nicely handled in the death scene, some nice interweaving of the Christian and Indian beliefs there.
Good dialogue, I haven't spotted any spag.

Oh, I really liked that. First time reading a chapter of this book. Very well written. Very believable. Want to know more about Howiwacipi too. I really love this. The charactes are very believable. So we have a murderer. I have to go back now to your other chapters. Very good. I think I am going to enjoy this book very much.
