This is nicely written sonnet well deserving of the "all time best" seal placed upon it. The prose flows freely and ends acknowledging the empowerment of the Almighty.

This is beautifully written with excellent imagery. I really enjoyed the flow of this poem, and I think it is excellent for the spiritual genre.
Thanks for sharing,

Beautiful - calm and peaceful indeed, and captures that feeling of time-suspension in the pre-dawn that heralds the new day and new resolve.
The photo is superb and reflects your writing perfectly.
I would have preferred "Its" light, but the sentiment's the same. Unfortunately I have no 6 star to give you.
Um, as with all new writers I come across, I have a quick look at the Profile. You might want to tell the person who wrote about you to change "roll" to "role".....

Thank you so much for catching that error in my profile, I never even noticed that. Probably time to update that profile anyway one of these days. Thanks for the great review as well, very much appreciated.

One of my Fans calls me the Word Nazi. If there's a mistake, I'll find it! heheh. And you're welcome - you deserve it.

You have written a lovely poem with a beautiful message. However, I am
dubious about the extra syllables in the third and the last line, because it is a sonnet.

Even the great Bard himself wrote with extra syllables, even the example the gave for the contest used a sonnet of such nature that Shakespeare wrote. When we get to restrictive in our writing sometimes we lose the beauty of the message. Thanks so much for your honest opinion and I hope you have a great day.

Your "Dawn of Tomorrow" is a good poem. I
do think sometimes I'm too picky about syllables. Jmort

I use to be that way myself, but really it is the flow of the poem that matters most, whether it be rhyming or free verse. Form poems seem restrictive but isn't it fun to just break the rules? LOL Have a great day.

I enjoyed reading your sonnet, dangling syllables and all. It is beautiful from beginning to end. I especially like the last two lines.

Absolutely gorgeous. And if anything is dangling, well I missed it because this beautiful sonnet flows beautifully from one line to the next.
These lines were my favorite: This ambiance will set a spirit free;
it calls for us to start this walk anew. I love the word "ambiance." The mood and feeling of a fresh day and fresh start. Good luck in the contest, this is a fabulous entry. Linda
