I think this contest entry is the best. I saw a little of myself in your replay ... investigating the return address and finding out that it's a studio apartment.

This letter reads and flows well and it's communication with "Helpless in Harrisburg" was direct - my kind of style.

Very sound advice, Connector of Dots! Your message is rational, well (even forcefully!) expressed, and he would be a fool to disregard your advice. I am most concerned about Mother (in law) snoring in the marital bed - nasty picture. The pun about eyeglasses and making a spectacle of himself was enjoyable. Good luck with the contest. :)
