This 3-5-3 poem and presentation is simple and beautiful like the moon itself. You used your few words to their full advantage here. Thanks for sharing.

Wow! Such an elegant piece. The last line is so clever. I love how it shows that a quiet presence can have such a huge impact. What a wonderful metaphor.

This was a lovely poem about the moon. I think the font could have been bigger, but that might have taken away from the effect. I don't know. The picture you used was pretty. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

Crescent moon resting - 5
'tween bright stars -3
turns the tide - 3

This is good, but I wonder why stop at a 5-3-3. It is a fine form but wouldn't a traditional Haiku form fit better. Maybe not. Inspiration comes as is after all.

Well done.

You have described this phase of the moon very well in only 11 syllables. It is easy to visualize this crescent "resting 'tween bright stars" having an effect on Earth's tides. Rod

Good day, Dove! As an amateur astronomer, and watcher of the night sky, I really enjoyed this. I can't get enough of the celestial heaven and the moon's phases. Sending you my best today as always and blessings for the book.

This is very well written and makes a good poem and it is informational as well because the moon just control the tides. I wish you the very best with your writing. May you have a wonderful day and God bless.
