Imaginary friends are great things to have. Imagine them the way you want them and hide all the faults and flaws and personality disorders that prick like thorns. Thanks for sharing.

That's probably why I write about ghosts...they make me happy and we can do whatever we want, whenever we want... Imagination is a wonderful world to enjoy. Thanks as always, my dear friend. Now, imagine a cool drink. a huge steak, and a special friend at your side... a special blend to make you feel better soon.

That would be wonderful! But three drinks would be better. :-) Hugs, Ric

Very very good. Great crisis for her save. Sometimes circumstances put us right where we need to be. This will be a good kids book. I was writing one and I ran out of steam early. But I am sticking with the common sense, I just need a breather now and then. I have a new story I am posting tomorrow. Today I have to earn points to promote it. Karen

Carol,

Another fantastic alphabet soup story. Kids are so cruel sometimes. Ivy didn't think twice to help the boy out of his predicament. Great moral to the story.

Great job my friend

Great story! I like that Ivy jumped into action when Carter was hanging by his backpack strap. And of course, Iggy helped also. Two fixes: 'Staring at the monstrous building looming in front of her, (Ivy)....' 'By the time (Ivy) reached the classroom....'
I especially like that Carter passed Ivy a juice box and Zane sat beside her in art. Good details that show the change in the boys toward Ivy. Blessings. Carol
P.S. I just read this to my grandson, and he liked your story.

Good on Iggy, helping her to overcome her fears and the bullying. Sometimes we all need an imaginary friend to help us to be brave to stand up for ourselves. (Pity the teacher didn't take a stand against her students' misbehaviour and mocking of Ivy. Sorry, I know it's just a story, but I would not have allowed them to do that.) very well written.

This cute and clever story had several messages to build character and bravery in young children. The story would also capture and hold a child's attention as they hoped Ivy would be accepted by kids in her new school. The best part is....the story has a very happy ending.

Hooray for Iggy and hooray for Ivy for helping when she didn't really have to but she knew it was the right thing to do! I enjoyed this story as you showed us some real life lessons mingled with imagination!

You're a genius Carol, this is another great kiddy's story with a moral to it, we all have qualities to us, if they are discovered, and they can be when we are young, although raising kids is complex issue, but even in tithe most negative arena, what we decide is still a decision, beautifully written, blessings Roy

I like Iggy, he is a cool dude, Carol.
I used to keep lizards, never had an Iguana , had a beardy, a chameleon and a family of 4 European jeweled lizards.
I wont mention that I also had 7 rather large snakes as well. My room was a herpetologists heaven LOL
Now all my companions have fur.
