Wow! That is a way to get the readers' hearts pounding. Great scene perfectly written, I think, although I was so into the story, I could have missed something.

This chapter all set in the airport was full of emotion and drama as Eleanor got her arms around her little Maggie, and then at the extreme end of emotions, with Garth's frustration thinking Zhang has slipped through their hands. Great writing Carol.

At least if nothing else, they've got Maggie, but Zhang's plane's gone, don't they. enough clout to divert the plane, unless of course it's Zhang's own, but Jack Lexington's got a fast plane, it will be there to greet Zhang, well done Carol, blessings Roy

I searched to make sure if I wasn't reading the one, I clicked on out of order. I would have. I'm glad I searched. Maggie is safe. Now to get Zhang. I need to hurry and read the other post.

Well done. They have the baby and they will make a nice little welcome party to greet Zhang Wei as he gets off the plane. You are tying the threads very nicely.

Yaay! It did my heart good to read Eleanor had Maggie in her arms. I loved your realistic description of the baby who seemed to know when she was being held by someone who loved her.
I also liked the way you described Garth as he walked away thinking he had lost Zhang forever. I recall when he lost a previous fugitive at the airport. However, he caught his man in the next novel. Hope we don't have to wait that long for Zhang to be caught. Things are finally coming together. This has been an enjoyable ride.

Well, they have Maggie back... a plane chase, Carol.
That's one way to do it and more exciting than how I would have done it.
I would have just called the tower and had the plane turn around LOL

I figured it was an international plane so they didn't have to listen.... just my thoughts...besides Zhang can't go out that easy if he doesn't manage to escape.
