This ended on a perfect note of uncertainty. So did Garland's fate. Sorry, this took so long. Husband, dog and I took rest vacation and ended up seeing horrific tornado damage.

This is another excellent chapter. The disguise is described very well. With everything that has been going on, I almost forgot about the little girl.It is a good thing Eleanor did not. I look forward to the next chapter. I do not see any need for improvement. Have a blessed day.

Oh what a cliffhanger to end this chapter on. I think Garland got what he deserved but Zhang certainly seems to have slipped through but now the baby cries, and that dramatic, hold our breath moment you are so good at. Well done, Carol.

I don't know how I missed this chapter but read Chapter 55. My message box stays so full I miss stuff. This chapter ends with suspense surrounding Maggie. Fortunately, I know from Chapter 55, Maggie was rescued my Eleanor.

It seems that Garland's supposed killer was a bit too hasty in his retreat. I'm assuming Garland was writing the license number of the limo with the mustard. Clever touch. Zhang seems safe for the moment. I hope Maggie is still alive. Lots of tension in this chapter. Blessings. Carol

Clever disguise for Zhang Wei. I hope she hasn't drugged the baby - but Eleanor is sharp, and is onto her. Will Garland survive? Doesn't deserve to. Another fine chapter, and a very tense point to stop at!

I have my other eye operation being done on Tuesday, so I don't want to commit just yet, as I am writing lots to post up during the period that I can't see a huge amount next week.
However, after that I shall have lots of time to join your next one and the eyes to see what fuck I am doing :-)

Are you have a cataract removed? I hope it goes as well as Sandra's did...she needed sunglasses because everything was so bright. Not to worry about my stories...take care of yourself.
