Zheng's pretty smart, if a real crook, they may get away with today, but sooner or later, he's got a good mind but wastes it on on being evil, I'm betting he'll get caught, and Maggie will be released...I hope, well done Carol, blessings Roy

I read this out of order. I already know Garland is dead. This is well written and I can't wait to read more.
"They raided the warehouse," Garland hissed, glancing over his shoulder. "The ledgers, the shipments - it's all exposed."
A pause. Then, in that same cool, controlled voice, "Are they coming for you?" (Two dialogues in same paragraph)

I read this out of order. I already know Garland is dead. This is well written and I can't wait to read more.

My word, everything's coming together now. But they still have to find Maggie. She was arriving at the airport soon, has she already been and gone? I sincerely hope not. Zhang certainly had all his exits covered, messing with the feds. Now Garland is scared, too scared to run on his own. I can go and read the next chapter now!!! Brilliant. Love and hugs, Sandra xxx

What a chapter! Extraordinary tension, and lots of action. Zhang Wei is certainly crafty as is Alex Garland. Eleanor will need to be everywhere at once, but yes, the baby is the priority.

Lots of questions on my mind. What is Garland up to? Where is Zhang hiding out? With all the security and FBI at the airport, it should be easy to find him, but he's pretty clever. Is baby Maggie still alive? And what is Zhang going to do with her? Good chapter, full of tension all through it.

I'm usually struggling to stay awake if I read something at this hour. But not with Veil of Secrets. Your storytelling is phenomenal. You included so many adventurous details in this chapter. You had me on the edge of my seat. You have both Zhang and Alex Garland on the run, while Garth and the FBI are spread all over. Only Eleanor is close to something, even though she doesn't know what. Wow Carol!

I love this... This reads like a Series, like Law and Order or New York Undercover. Or In The HEAT of the NIGHT. Shows that Dick Wolf produced. ...not sure if he was the producer of In the Heat of the Night. Probably not. But anyway, this is very creative, and I love the picture above. This I believe would go in the Crime and Mystery Category. Or were you aiming for a different category???

Eleanor definitely has major advantages when it comes to stealthy surveillance, Carol.
Ok this is deffo ramping up, why haven't they shut down the airport,put all take offs on hold, while they check everywhere,
