I must admit all stories should have a ghost placed in them, like Eleanor, or even Danni, or Miriam, or whoever, who make people like Nathanial Devereaux temple and shake a little, beautifully written, great episode, blessings Roy

The problem with reading a book over weeks means I am now confused. I know who the two women are, but what has Nathaniel to do with this except someone gave Rosalee the keys to his apartment. Is he a good guy or bad? Does he have any part in the plan to take down Zhang? I also thought Zhang and the baby were already on a plane.

I can fully understand why Matthew is so frustrated, Garth will come through I am sure, I just hope none of the ones we root for end up injured or worse.

Eleanor is wonderful - it's so well done when she just appears and shocks the baddies into thinking they have lost their mind. She'll elicit some useful information from him, and simultaneously keep Rosalie safe. Great chapter - well done!

This story has taken yet another turn. Nathaniel knows CJ Gray, the artist. I was glad to read Eleanor's name as an artist. It brought up memories of your first novel. Now, we need to know how Alex had access to Nathaniel's home when Nathaniel doesn't know who Alex Garland is. This is a totally different and intriguing story. I can't wait to see how it ties into rescuing Maggie. Carol, you are a mastermind. I don't know how you do it, but I love it.

I'd be like Nathaniel and would certainly need a drink or two if Eleanor dropped in and out. She's such a great character and you use her well, Carol. Loving this book.

Eleanor certainly has an interesting way of gaining the upper hand in a situation. It sounds like both Nathaniel and Rosalie are a bit spooked by Eleanor's presence in the room. I'm not certain what she intends to do there. I presume I'll learn that in the next chapter. Blessings. Carol

I really enjoyed reading this chapter. The tension between Rosalie and Nathaniel kept things interesting. The way you showed Nathaniel's disbelief about Eleanor being "dead" feel so real - it really kept me hooked. You keep the suspense high which makes me want to keep reading. I'm excited to see where this goes next! Keep up the great work!
