Like a moth to her flame, but which is really which. You set this scene are well Carol and I could really visualise it as I read through. Garland thinks he is the big man, but she's already hooked him. Great chapter,

I'm not sure where Rosalie's going with all this, but she certainly has Garland wrapped around her little finger. The plot has taken another twist, just when I thought everything was winding down toward the end. Lol. Good chapter! Carol

Rosalie seems to know her way around a smart girl with enough attractive promise to be able to be attractive to a man such as Judge Garland, there is a Zhang connection, a mutual one. Beautifully written Carol, blessings Roy

Rosalie played that well!!!! Now she has hooked the crooked judge, will he help save her from Zhang? She has dropped a large incentive into his lap, but Zhang doesn't sound to me to be a person who is afraid of anyone, or isn't scared about the way he handles things. If I were Rosalie or Garland should be careful.
I'm out of hospital, and catching up. I have to get some member cents now. I'm tired but happy to be home. Love you lots, my dear friend. :) Sandra xxxx

then you are probably going to find a few things to interet you in the upcoming chapters as well. Rosalie and Garland are both strong willed and used to being in charge... And neither knows (though Rosalie suspects) that Zhang has put a target o their back.

He's corrupt, and she knows it, but I am not sure where Rosalie is heading with this. It's another layer of intrigue and mystery to your complex plot. But I am sure you are in the process of drawing the threads together and solving it all. Well written.

I'm not sure Rosalie knows either...for the moment she's guessing that she's safer with Garland than Zhang, but is she? And I hope I can make this all come together i the end.

You've included additional tension to the basic plot, and added tension between Rosalie and Judge Alex. She did a number on him. Maybe he'll protect her from Zhang. I can't guess where you'll go next.

I'm hoping to carry the judge and Rosalie over into the next book...but I'm not sure about that yet. I've been knocking off a few people so I might need one or two. Rosalie is in danger with either Zhang or the judge, but for now I think she's safer with the judge.

Rosalie ignored her orders from Zhang because she thought the two crooks were nuts. Too bad she didn't hang around a little longer. She would know what was going on and wouldn't have to suck up to the judge. Was her disappearance from his office a strategic retreat or was it to lure him to her.

It was to lure him to her.... She's playing a dangerous game but thinks Garland is a safer bet than Zhang is...Something that remains to be seen. I imagine carrying one or both of them over into the next book/
