Hi Debi,
This is a well written story about an imaginary party which I would like to be real. I have often thought that FanStory should do the geeky thing and have a yearly convention where we could all meet and talk that is held at a different location every year.
Congrats on placing third in the contest.

Well -- well, well, well -- that was quite an anniversary party! I think I saw my name slipped in between Tom and Barry and a bunch of others as we all celebrated this Golden event. I remember that nine-toe story from when we were at Cape Canaveral (no - that was John Glenn). Oh yeah, John had a couple of space stories that were out of this -- uh -- well, never mind. Great send up for Sally and Jack's fiftieth wedding anniversary.

This is a fun story as the whole crowd gets together. The men seem to be having quite a time and forgetting about the ladies. But then the party was for everyone, and it ran half the night as well.

What a nice tribute. 50 years? They look so young. Sally once mentioned she lived in Buffalo NY. I wondered if that was where the anniversary would take place. Nice intrigue over the mysterious visitor. Great pic too!

Hi Forest, yeah that picture of them was only a couple years ago. And no, the virtual party was held in Florida. That is where they actually live right now.

I love the way all the men, including the mysterious crasher :)) were disappearing into the men's room, never to be seen again. Obviously there was some magic portal enabling their exit to the bar (how typical is that!). The Debbies were certainly out in force and I thank you for my inclusion. It's all down to Debbie Reynolds, you know, and the crush all our fathers had on her. I know mine was besotted, although a bit of a toss-up for favourite between her and Dolly (I could have been a Dolly D'Arcy:)) Anyway, good for Glen for flying down to meet everyone!
