Another great read Carol finishing with Eleanor's visit to see Danni at his Casino. A ppignant moment between Eleanor and Charles who doesn't really get Eleanor's passion for helping. Love these characters, well done.
cheers

This is another excellent chapter. I wonder what Dannie will do to help Eleanor. So, I will keep reading. It is hard keeping up with you. I do not see any room for improvement. Have a blessed day.

Carol,

Another excellent chapter in your book. I could sit and read this whole book in a day. Do you have your other book in the series published, because I would like to read them all.

Well done my sister from another mister. Have a great day.

I have them on FS...they haven't been published yet. The one following Unfinished Brushstrokes is Spirited Justice and then Miracles and this one I am writing now. Each one has the same main characters and the stories always move forward. You are so kind! Another six! I am blessed!

I sort of expected Charles to be more like her, passionate and driven to find the baby, rather than thinking it was too hard. Let's hope Danny can help in some way. Well written. Good that Matthew is starting to improve.

Unfortunately, Charles is like most whose lives have ended...he prefers to settle into paradise and embrace the gifts the Lord has given him. Eleanor, on the other hand, has the need to continue the work of helping those in need.

Charles doesn't have the same compulsion to solve problems as Eleanor. But she knows she can turn to Danny for help, and he has very good contacts. As far as the vineyard people, with Cornelius gone, life is good.

Poor Charles has been waiting a lifetime for Eleanor. The dialogue between Eleanor and Danny is interesting, and hopefully he will help find Maggie.
Your descriptions are well done. You always show us what's happening in each scene. Blessings. Carol

I'm glad Eleanor has someone she can call on to assist her fulfill all that is expected of her. I love the idea of a ghost character who can sense some supernatural things, but people around her don't understand her limited capabilities, and expect her to perform all sorts of magic tricks.

Eleanor is now well developed as a character and makes an incredible star of future detective investigations.

I love Eleanor...she's like my best friend or family member. Probably better than a family member — at least one of mine. I'm already thinking of the next one.

Of course she does! Danny already knows that. Bless him. Eleanor has a way with people, she brings them together, she loves them, and they love her. Charles will have to get used to it, because I can't see Eleanor changing. (At least, I hope she doesn't) Everyone is happy, and they will be happier once Maggie is home and Jenna and Matthew are reunited again. If Zhang hurts that baby, there won't be a place in the whole universe he'll be able to hide. They will be after more than his blood! Well done again. I'm all caught up and it was wonderful! Love you lots, my friend. :)Sandra xxxx

I could never change Eleanor... she's at her finest in the next chapter... just a bit of humor added. And then we have to start digging deep to find little Maggie. Zhang's a nasty guy and one never knows what he did with her.

Thank you for sharing this addition to the story with us. I am enjoying the read.

Lenore smiled, "I'm your Grammy, and Miriam says she is too." (Interesting revelation. I knew Amelia claimed Lenore as her grandma by default, now we find out Miriam is a real grandma????)

Eleanor nodded. "Yes," Eleanor nodded, "and Cornelius is in the right place. He won't harm anyone again." (too many 'Eleanor nodded.')

Thanks for catching my error. I added "Yes" to be the beginning and forgot to remove the first Eleanor nodded. My brain is in an uproar.

So now, Matthew is on the mend, just the final couple of pieces to put in place.
I am wondering, Carol, if when all is said and done, Eleanor will finally head to England, or maybe even pass on to the other place.
Not long till I find out.

I am seriously thinking of Eleanor's next adventure be in England... maybe a haunted castle. Remember Danny (who was involved in solving the theft of Eleanor's painting a few stories back) has just returned from England... Hmm! Maybe a wedding for one of our couples and mystery, humor and hauntings galore.
    What you think?

Well England certainly has plenty of haunted places, and I can see her wandering the halls of many such.

We still have to catch Zhang (maybe) and find Maggie. And was the coroner in on this alone or does this judge have something to do with it? So many options and questions.
