I could really feel the loyalty there was between Travis and the wolf-dog. This was done really well and I could feel the tension as they were being attacked. I got the sense that Travis would do anything to protect his dog. Another excellent chapter, Carol, I'm off to catch up on the next one. I really enjoyed it.

I love the wolf-dog... He might have been wild at one point, but his heart is gold. And I believe Travis has learned that too.

Oh man. I should go to bed, but I'm hooked again with just a few chapters to go. What did people do when they were reading it as you were writing it and had to wait for the next chapter???! I'm so glad I can just keep clicking through. !

I'm one of the few writers that posts a chapter a day. Most only post once a week. I would go bonkers waiting for the next one.

This is another excellent chapter. It was good the wolf-dog was with Travis. Your word descriptions are compelling. The coyotes made me nervous. I do not see any room for improvement. Have a blessed day.

It's so good to see Travis out of danger, Cornelius actually helping him as far as the dogs are concerned, and he puts healing powder on the dog, after defending Travis, and simply walks away, beautifully written Carol, blessings, trying to catch up, blessings Roy

Yes, Cornelius had a weak moment...maybe things are working on him about family and legacies. He wouldn't let him self appear weak though so he helped and then walked away.

Another fine chapter! Tension galore with your descriptive attack of the coyotes!

"his voice was like wind through dead leaves..."

My favorite line!

This is by far the most intricate plotline you've had in the "Eleanor" series...

Zhang and his ilk are still to be declined with but I love where you are right now!

It is and actually it wasn't meant to get to thick but the story owned it's self... I think the next one needs to be Eleanor and humor again...This got a little dark and heavy.

It has been "darker" -- but thus far you've pulled the nose of the plane up and not crashed... Eleanor's inability to be all "ghosts" to all people has really come through! Sort of a subliminal message there maybe? This has been intense with "adventure" -- but yes, I love it and still wouldn't mind a lighter plot for the next Eleanor adventure...

(smile--I love psychological thrillers and such but maybe it's me? I'm ready for a Rom-Com!)

I believe the next one will be a wedding in England in a castle ...maybe a haunted one. Lots of humor I hope and a mystery of course...but I have no idea what... Maybe the Queen or King would be kidnapped? LOL

Oh! That sounds exciting! I'll brainstorm mysteries and send them to you unsolicited. (Laughing here)

That poor kid has had a terrible night and needs medical attention. If Garth would only trust the wolf-dog, he could lead him to Rebecca. The problem is, he still isn't placing any confidence in the ghost people.

He's a play by the book man and ghosts don't fit in although he's willing to easily talk to Allie and Eleanor. One of these days, he might finally understand.

Loved the interaction with Travis and the wolf-dog, fighting off the coyotes, going for help. Another good chapter, Carol. You show Garth's fr4ustration well, and it is understandable as he's probably imagining all that Rebecca could be going through. Well done,
cheers

Yes, not knowing where someone is or if she's hurt is a nerve wracking ordeal that can send you over the edge with worry and frustration. I hope he hangs in there.

This is a wonderful chapter, Carol. I love how the wolf-dog is paying back the favour and has conceivably saved Travis's life. What a wonderful imagination you've got. A big hug, Ulla xxx

Wolf-dog is noble and admirable, fulfilling his commitment to look after Travis, and even defending him from a pack of coyotes (well-described attack!) I was surprised but pleased that Cornelius healed the wolf-dog. Eleanor is as wise and calming as ever, and Garth would do well to listen well and follow her lead. A super chapter! As always!

Cornelius is finding a few soft spots in his akeup now and then and I don't think he knows exactly what to do about it. It's either that or he goes up in a puff of smoke. LOL
