Sorry for the late review, Carol, I've been really busy this past week. I could really feel the intensity here and I was so relieved when Rebecca recovered towards the end of the chapter. I'm looking forward to reading the next one.

Thanks for giving me so much of your time...I know how difficult it is to keep up with the site and our normal life (if that is such a thing) LOL. I really appreciate it.

The wolf-dog's ears flicked. Then, a deep, mournful howl escaped his chest and the whispering began.
Really enjoyed the scene that followed this. ...and the use of the light blue to signify the whisperers...
Side note: how did I almost forget about Miriam in all the action ...? Shame on me!
>>OK Travis, do the thing! On to the next chapter.

This is another excellent chapter. The tension between the ghosts kept me wanting to read. I look forward to the next chapter. I do not see any room for improvement. Have a blessed day.

Thanks so much for following this story too. I love all my Eleanor stories..This is the fourth in a series. And I know there will be at least a fifth one that is also rolling around in my head. Thanks so much.

Great!
Wait!
What does Lenore have to do?
Am I the only one worried Miriam or Rebecca must be released?
Oh, geez.
Travis needs to find Garth before Lenore does something that can't be undone!
You're amazing...

Each chapter is more intriguing more dramatic than the previous and each one is riveting reading. Travis is very brave to leave the cottage but wolf dog is a good protector. Great work Carol. Loving this, cheers

Excellent descriptions of spiritual beings and nature intertwining with the real world, and the overlap is confusing for some of the characters. I like that the dog will lead Travis to help, perhaps to Garth? And Rebecca will choose to return to life. Much suspense. Well done.

Writing the part about Lenore and her visions was difficult for me...Wasn't sure I was envisioning it right. But I won't have to do much more of that...thank heavens. Now Wolf Dog will have to protect and lead Travis to Eleanor or Garth.

This is a really pivotal point in Rebecca's life and the boy, Travis, is in charge of saving her. It is hard to believe that he has to follow a dog to find his way, but he agrees and leaves Rebecca in Lenora's care.

The young boy has no idea where they are or where anything else is for that matter. Wolf-dog will take care of him ...in a big way as they travel.

Some of this seems beyond my understanding, Rebecca's passing between life and the edge of death, and back to life. Lenore says, "I won't fail this time," but is she going to heal Rebecca, or kill her? I'll wait to read the next segment to find out. Blessings. Carol

And just like that, you let us hanging:) what sorcery is that? I liked this chapter very much this parallel between the present and the past, and the sense of unfinished business.

A lot happened in this post. We are getting closer to solving all of the mysterious this story holds an I'm pretty sure Garth is going to be led to Rebecca by Trevor and a wolf-dog. I dol like this story.
