Happy Valentines, girlfriend..... I'm so far behind once again. Just finishing up another chapter on Veil and on for In The Attic. I know you said your day was busy, I hope you are doing okay.

I managed a new poem for the Valentines day contest, but am still adventuring through your Veil of Secrets. I'm at that point when you see that you've got lots of pages behind you and not many ahead and you want to slow down and savor... but the action is keeping me turning the proverbial pages... !

You'll get some money for them pretty soon. I think it lasts for four days after I post... So usually that's about four chapters on Veil and then I write a short story also every day. Some are flashes and some are In The Attic which is almost done. Smiles

Plenty happening in this chapter. It's easy to understand Garth's anger and frustration while he seeks to find Rebecca. I'm thinking there's more to play out with Zhang. Great writing, Carol.

This is a scary chapter as Eleanor can't see where Rebecca is, only that she is alive, and Garth isn't going to look for her until morning, which may be too late. I assume Jack has convinced Zhang that the corpse is Donatelli?

Vito is the head of the NY mob...It is his team that is trying to take over the tunnels. Which they thought they were going to do with Doyle. But Zhang hijacked Doyle and got him on his side....then he ended up dead. Zhang having learned of the profit in smuggling the women through the tunnels now wants it so there is a battle between the two sides. Does that help?
