Jack smirked faintly. "I'm the cop who let you in. If they find you with the gun, this whole thing falls apart. You'll knock me out, grab my weapon, and do the job. I'll play dead while you take the shot. No gun to tie you to the scene, no loose ends."

I read the next chapter prior to this one so this fills in the backstory very well although it's very complicated. The main thing is Donatelli is being moved, although I can't imagine it all happening in real life - but I guess neither can I imagine Eleanor and Danni turning up as ghosts whenever needed. Well done.

I could really feel Frank's struggle in the early part. It definitely will be a big decision to move Donatelli, particularly in the state he is in. The suspense is really ticking up a notch here, Carol. Another really enjoyable chapter. I can't wait for the next one.

They successfully got Donatelli out of his room and on to the rooftop for helicopter pickup and had Rossi shoot an already dead corpse. Jack killed Jin before he could shoot Rossi and Jack. The plan came together without a hitch.

This chapter had me on the edge of my seat. I couldn't read fast enough. I love all the detail you included which made the scene easy to visualize. The addition of the suspicious nurse was riveting, unexpected, and realistic.
I don't know how you envision and create all of this action, but I'm glad you do. It's over-the-top entertaining.

Wow, there are many characters in this scene, a bit of a struggle for me to keep track of. I'm glad you have included the character list. This plan to move Donatelli is amazing, and complex. It's very neat all these arrangements to get Rossi off from being liquidated Himself, but Donetelli is as safe as he's going to be, but Jin was taken care of. And now what the future holds I'm not sure. Beautifully written. Blessings Roy
