I know, right? I was certain the only vote it would have would be my own. It's just way too zany to imagine.

This is short and sweet but I like it. You followed the rules and that's all that matters. It makes it difficult to do a review, but hey we got this.
Good luck in the contest

I understand, but you might admit, at least, that it had you open the contest, right? Thanks .

Lol. I was just goofing around. Sometimes dumb crap like this passes. As long as I had a chuckle that's all that matters.

LOL this looks like a high-effort winner. FYI some of your recent contest entries have a ton of white space at the top between the image and the starting text. See also your third-most-recent contest entry with the jacked bare-chested old dude. Apart from that, good job and good luck.

Thank you for the great review, Harambe. It depends on if it's read on a PC or phone and if it's a story or poem. I create them on my home PC and have to put numerous spaces in front of the text so it'll go under the picture. When I read it on my phone there's a ton of space between the pic and words. I don't know. There's no way to make it correct on both. A site error as far as I can figure.
I appreciate the stars and good luck wishes, friend. I'm glad you liked this ridiculous piece.

When the text is not going under the image, the reason is that the site has identified it as non-poetry and by default has a stupid template that right-aligns the image with the text. The solution is: at the bottom of the editor, under the "advanced" options, the first thing that shows up is the image size options. Change it from automatic to small. This will not make your image small per se but will fix that alignment issue, and your text will start below the image. It does ride the text up rather close to the image, so at that point I will sometimes add another line of whitespace. But this guarantees that the whitespace below your image will not be variable depending on the viewer device.

Awesome. Thanks, my friend. I'll have to check that out next time.

Short, succinct and funny.
Nicely done, creating a witty and sharp reflection of the vagueries of blind contest voting.
You sum it up in a short conversation, I can relate to it well.

Wow, this was unexpected...but yet so right:) but you'll never know until you try and get past that "whatever would be would be." Thank you for sharing and good luck with the contest.
