As God is a happy god, we should also strive to find happiness. If you wonder how I can make the statement that God is ha happy god, just consider the taste of good food, the site of beautiful children happily at play, the joy you feel when you receive a treasured gift, etc. Consider all the things that make you happy, these are all gifts designed to make you feel joy. When you consider these heavenly gifts, you should be able to wipe the frown from your face and replace it with a happy smile.

Haha, yes, I know and that is why I kept using the line that said, Let's find the joy that God intends. I proclaimed God's love for joy in my poem. And tried to give many examples, so I don't wonder how you know it, as I know it too.
Like the old Sunday School song read, Because the Bible tells me so.
Right? I believe, just as you do that there is nothing that God can't do. But He wants us to have love, peace and joy in our lives. That I know for sure.
Just as you do. I am so thankful that we are on the same page. Makes it that much easier to love you, big brother. Thanks for giving me your stamp of approval with your words of wisdom for my poem. Lotsa love, Debi

The last verse reminds me of what Jesus said, love your enemies, if you only love those that love you what reward do you get? The sun rises on those you hate as much as it does those you love.

Ulla, I know that the nature that surrounds you and gives you joy are also my sentiments in so many ways. Yes, I find my peace and joy in Jesus, but I also find it in the same ways you do.
And besides you and I have always had such a respectful friendship. I don't try to push you to be like me, nor do you do that to me. I love that about us. (Big Smile) we agree to disagree and do it in harmony. Hugs too.
You have no idea how sad I was when you were going to leave. Gosh, a person doesn't fully realize how much someone means to them until you almost lose them. Thank you for staying.
When I get more time allotted on my iPad when they do the cornea transplant and I heal from that, I should be good to read longer pieces and I am so excited to come visit you on your page and review what you write.
