A lovely description of the colours of spring in this tanka, Cecilia and of the birds, bees and butterflies who come back after your cold winters. I love the brightly coloured bulbs, nice one Cecilia. cheers

What joy Spring brings. All the flowers, the colours that brighten the day. The new babies, lambs bouncing in the fields, the fledglings learning to fly. What's not to like about the Spring. You have opened the door to show us a peep of what's to come, my friend. Lovely! :)) Sandra xx

I am so ready for Spring. It isn't here yet but the temperatures were better today. We got out for our first walk this year.
the flowers in your picture brighten the day.

You have penned a well descriptive poem, expressing the response of faunas and floras to the advent of Spring.

I can't wait for spring to be here, I'm fed up of January and want these long dark days to recede. Although I think winter can be a beautiful season, I do love it when nature starts to awaken as well in the spring. A well written piece, Cecilia, I really enjoyed reading it.

What a beautiful scenic poem of Spring Cecilia, we are all waiting for it to come in and quick! I love crocus peeping through the snow, gorgeous!

    We live where we live, My wife and our family own and run a public golf course outside of Gig Harbor, Washington. The choice was to live in the mountains of Colorado, which I loved, or see lives here and I live there. She won as you would have done the same. Just built a new house, will send some pics. Sometimes we have to give and change or live alone. My daughter has also moved here, as my son and his family may. Imagine having 160 acres of land and trees and water as your own, I can live here but have rain gear on all day, Yuk.

    Yeah I get it. I have followed my husband in to all sorts of environments. Minnesota being one of them.
