What a profound piece dissecting through emotional consequences of being repressed. It makes me feel uncomfortable reading which is probably the purpose of the poet. Best wishes for the contest.

This is a beautiful sonnet. It is a shame that our society expect men to be emotionless. I say cry it's good for the soul. It doesn't make you any less a man.

Your poem is so honest! I loved how you wrote about breaking free from emotional suppression - it felt powerful. Your ending was perfect. For me those tears becoming a symbol of liberation. It made me feel the relief at that moment. Your words really hit the heart. Amazing work!
