What a lovely sonnet. It fits the abab cdcd dede ff rhyme scheme and every line is in iambic pentmeter. I don't know that I see a clear volta in the third stanza, but each stanza is poignant and fitting with the theme of God's unconditional love.

Your poem is truly beautiful. I'm deeply moved by the way you describe His love as "pure, and ever true". For me that feels so comforting. The line "A balm to heal the wounds we try to hide" is such a tender reminder of God's presence in our lives. I also love how you highlight that God's love "seeks no gain" and "flows freely". Your poem shows us the selfless love God offers us every day.
