Hi Debra,
It's their problem, not yours. How difficult is it to look where you're going, and greet a passerby. Instead, many do have their phones to keep them occupied. We live in a very strange world.
Good Luck in the Lune Poetry contest!
If I walked by you, I'd invite you for a cocktail at that restaurant you're in, (in your picture). We could have a nice chat! And maybe some fish 'n chips!
Hugs,
Kimbob

    Hi Kimbob :)
Thank you for the good luck wishes!
A cocktail and a chat would be lovely, although they don't sell fish in chips in that particular establishment, I can recommend the braised pig cheeks! It is my brother's restaurant and a fine place to dine it is too ;)
Restaurant Auction House in Louth, Lincolnshire - check out the webpage!
Best wishes as always, Debra x

I'll do that, Deb! But I don't think I'd choose the braised pig cheeks. I thought fish 'n chips were a delicacy in England! A staple! What about tenderloin tips? Or sauteed scallops? And I'm a big fan of baked potato. LOL. I'm sure we'd have a time of it.
    Hugs,
    Kimbob

Haha! Unbelievable! My guess, of course, they had their nose in their phones. How more of them don't get run over is beyond me! But what a striking lune verse and image! There's no way that's going to go unnoticed! Good luck, Debra! Hopefully you'll escape the worst of this massive storm tomorrow. Love Debbie

Dear Debra,
It's not you, my friend, it's the distracted world we live in. A wonderful lune of the red coat that should keep pedestrians from crashing into you, but not today. A comical (but not) lune poem. I hope you're okay. Geeze!
Sending you my best today as always, and my very best wishes for the upcoming contest.

I know that that famous comic character the Invisible man became invisible by discarding his clothes, (got a big hairy in mid winter) but I've not heard of putting on bright clothing did, heh heh, well done Debra, good luck, blessings Roy

This lune poem, Unseen, has the proper formatting and suggests that those people are actually bulls attracted by the red cape that is moving before them.
